We are a small, rural school of choice. We have much to offer academically with an experienced staff committed to experiential learning. We would like to include families who are excited about their children’s educational experience. We wish to build a partnership with the home school community to support our mission of personalized education and enhance the dynamics of our school community. We offer programming that could further enhance the homeschooling experience by learning in an alternative environment and collaborating with other students.
Students will participate in Science Fridays, 1 day/month dedicated to science based projects and learning.
Students will participate in Social Studies Days, 1 day/month set aside for the exploration and study of history, cultures, geography, and government.
Students will be invited to attend all field trips.
We also welcome your children to participate in our once-a-week day-long elective class program, Quest. Quest Instructors are members of the wider community hired to come in and teach subjects they know intimately: Arts and Crafts, Music, Health and Wellness, and Drama are among the offerings this school year.
We are accepting applications for those interested. We have a limited number of openings. Please contact us for more information or to schedule a visit.
As an enrolled home school student, your child will also have access to all the licensed, internet based programs used at BRCS. Notably, Renaissance Learning, STAR, which is a nationally normed assessment to track academic growth in Reading and Math:
We hope everyone had a wonderful summer break! We look forward to having everyone back on campus! And don't forget your water bottles!
Back to school!
